CEISMC Expanded Learning Programs staff is committed to providing a safe and secure in-person summer program. The following practices align with CDC guidelines for programs during the COVID-19 health crisis.
Anyone showing signs of illness of any kind or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 should not attend in-person programming.

Daily ScreeningEveryone on campus is required to participate in a daily health screening. Students, faculty, and staff complete a screening survey prior to arriving on campus. Upon arrival, screenings are verified. |

Masks RequiredAll participant’s, staff, and visitors are encouraged to wear a mask at all times—indoors, outdoors, during drop-off and pick-up—except while eating or drinking. Masks must be over the mouth and nose and should be a solid color or simple pattern. Approved masks include cloth and disposable 3-ply paper masks. Masks may not have a valve. Gaiters, bandanas, and face shields are not masks. |

Hand Washing, Sanitizing, & DisinfectingFrequent hand washing and hand sanitizing will be encouraged throughout the day and will be required upon entering and exiting each classroom. Sanitization stations, with hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, paper towels, and gloves, will be placed in all classrooms, and alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be available throughout program. |

Social DistancingPublic health officials recommend physical distancing of six feet to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. CEISMC Expanded Learning Programs will ensure this physical distancing for the safety of our participants, faculty, and staff through its hybrid schedule as well as classroom layouts, one-way hallways and stairwells, and dining. |

CleaningCEISMC Expanded Learning Programs uses common disinfectants that are approved for use against COVID-19. Facilities staff will also administer frequent cleaning a disinfecting of high-touch areas and items in shared spaces. |

OutdoorsInstructors are encouraged to use Georgia Techs outdoor spaces around campus as much as possible. |
|
VisitorsCampus access will be limited. Visitors are discouraged from visiting in an effort to minimize spread.
